In the summer of 2001, in Sweden, north of the Arctic Circle, doctors experimented with using pharmaceutical grade sesame oil to calm irritated and bleeding nasal membranes, instead of the usual salt spray. Those using sesame oil thought it was about 80% more effective in helping their dry nasal problems.
For centuries Ayurveda physicians have used sesame oil to successfully treat and relieve symptoms of sinusitis. Air travelers have used our NOSE OIL to protect against upper respiratory bacterial infection, so common after even short duration air travel. A few drops in each nostril before the flight and again every 3-4 hours during seems to work wonderfully well. The oil is naturally anti-inflammatory, antiviral and antibacterial for both streptococcus and staphylococcus. Has a hint of peppermint.
Use it before flying, in closed buildings and offices, at school. Place 2-4 drops in each nostril, alternately close each side of the nose and sniff the oil back into the sinuses.
Ayurveda physicians use this oil to cure sinusitis.
